Donate – Donation Management Platform

Donate is a donation management application designed to connect donors and volunteers within the MUET community. The platform allows users to share goods or household items, and enables authorized volunteers to pick up and distribute donations efficiently.

Highlights

• - Spring Boot backend managing user registration, donation tracking, notifications, and volunteer workflows
• - User segmentation into AUTHORIZED and GENERAL users, with role-based access and permissions
• - Donation workflow with real-time notifications for authorized volunteers
• - Volunteers mark donations as “VOLUNTEERED” and track collection/distribution within defined timeframes
• - Mobile and web integration for real-time updates and efficient donation handling
• - Reporting and status updates for all donations to ensure accountability

• - Enabled volunteers to respond within 1–3 hours and complete donation cycles within 24 hours
